Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of AreaSift, a service operated by Jeytex LLC. By creating an account or using AreaSift, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be able to legally enter into these Terms to use AreaSift. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, maintaining access to your email account, and all activity under your account. Do not share access in a way that defeats account ownership or security controls.

3. Acceptable use

Use AreaSift lawfully and only for legitimate property, field-service, and business organization purposes. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit malicious content, evade service limits, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

4. Free and paid service

AreaSift may offer free and paid plans with different limits or features. Current plan limits and availability are shown in the service. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing as the service evolves, with communications handled as required by applicable law or the applicable billing terms.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are purchased through AreaSift's web billing flow and processed by Stripe. The configured Stripe subscription price is recurring, so a paid subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless it is canceled or otherwise ends under the applicable billing terms. You authorize the applicable charges for the plan you select. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the available billing portal. The effective timing and terms of cancellation are controlled by the applicable billing terms and Stripe configuration. Stripe may process payment details under its own terms.

6. User-provided data

You retain responsibility for the addresses, notes, labels, dates, records, and other content you add to AreaSift. You grant Jeytex the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, display, export, and provide that content as part of the service. Jeytex may maintain technical or operational copies of data as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or recover the service, but you should maintain your own exports or records where important. Do not submit data you do not have the right to use.

7. Availability and third parties

AreaSift depends on services including Firebase, Mapbox, and Stripe. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, network failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

AreaSift, its software, visual design, branding, and related materials are owned by Jeytex LLC or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is active. No ownership of the service is transferred to you.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

AreaSift is an organizational tool and does not provide legal, tax, surveying, construction, real-estate, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying records and decisions made using the service. To the extent permitted by law, AreaSift is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded, and Jeytex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using AreaSift and request account deletion at any time. Jeytex may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security or abuse concerns, nonpayment, or when continued operation is not reasonably practical. Applicable payment, legal, security, and transaction records may be retained after termination where required.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as AreaSift evolves. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
